Presentation of the selected collections of renaissance and baroque paintings in Bohemia and Moravia This Bachelor Thesis refers to the presentation of works of renaissance and baroque paintings in the most important Bohemian and Moravian galleries. The Thesis is especially focused on the permanent exhibitions of the National Gallery in Prague, Moravian Gallery in Brno, Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc and Kroměříž and the Strahov Gallery and their description, evaluation and comparison. The thesis is also aims attention to the creation of permanent exhibitions and the function of art museums in last fifty years. In the last chapter, the presentations of Czech collections are compared to the foreign permanent exhibition of renaissance and baroque art in The National Gallery in London and in Galleria Degli Ufizzi in Florence.

Financial Reporting of public-benefit corporations in Czech Republic was significantly changed during a reform of public accounting standards. This thesis focuses on specifics of new Czech legislation in the field of public sector accounting and its differences from international IPSAS standards and shows basic principles of economy of public-benefit corporations on example of one of the most important cultural institution in Czech Republic - National gallery in Prague.
Library of voyager Joe Hloucha

This bachelor's thesis deals with the personal library of the Czech voyager, collector and writer Joe Hloucha. The aim is to find out information about the library and describe localized fragment of Hloucha's library. The introduction presents the key terms of the thesis. Second part discusses biography of Joe Hloucha including his collecting activities. The third chapter deals with Hloucha's writing career. The fourth chapter describes the process of searching for books from his personal library. The fifth chapter is devoted to description of founded copies from his personal library. In conclusion the thesis summarizes obtained findings and sumps up the current state of the books from Hloucha's property.

Vincenc Kramář and study of medieval art

Vincenc Kramář and study of medieval art. The basic goal of this work is summarization and critical evaluation of the methodological work of Vincenc Kramář for further studying of medieval art, including critical evaluation of the related literature. The main goal should be attempt to define Kramář's methods which he applied on artworks of the medieval era. The connection between Kramář's method and Vienna school of history of art in comparison with contemporary expert approaches of a leading personalities on the field of history of art (B. Berenson, G. Morelli). This bachelor's dissertation also provides detailed analysis of Kramář's works on the field of czech medieval artworks. The influence of Kramář's professional career on development of his method will also be taken into consideration. The more precise subsumption of Kramář's personality and his scientific work within the frame of history of art in czech lands should be the outcome of this dissertation, as well as basic depiction of contemporary expert methods abroad and its infulence on it.
Museum branding

This bachelor thesis addresses a branding of cultural institutions. At first it defines basic elements of branding and their specifics regarding museum s. The practice part of the thesis describes two significant culture institutions - Tate and the National Gallery of the Czech Republic, from the time of the foundation to the present date situation. Following part of the thesis is based on the questionaire survey supposed to confirm or disprove hypotheses established in the introduction. The research deals with the public view of the National Gallery brand. The conclusion is based on the information obtained by the research. At the very end of the thesis there are several suggestions on how to improve the institution's branding.

Questions, which incurred by request of the National Gallery, the Planning Administrative Department and the Ministry of Industry, examine whether people attend galleries and theatres, whether they listen programmes by Z. Nejedlý. The research also includes questions concerning to the female form of the term “minister”, whether people have changed their opinion of the Western Great Powers after the peace conference. Other questions address to the punishments for lateness to work, success of two-year plan and the brigade-works.
